ELVIS

Thirty years ago today Elvis died. I remember those famous words “ladies and gentlemen Elvis has left the building” being joke punch lines then and now. Well many Democrats and Republicans have not left the party building but are running as independents this year. Never before have I seen this happen in bulk is this a sign of things to come and if so what effect will it have on party politics in Derby going forward?
