THOMPSON HAS MADE NO PROMISES

Independent Democrat Mel Thompson has done the unthinkable. He has made no promises to anyone for jobs if he wins the election for Mayor. The only problem we see is that he will wake up on November 7th with a month to fill jobs. Who will he appoint and will he meet the deadline before he takes office? This policy of no promises is a good one and we are sure Mr. Thompson has a clue who he wants but it is a stunning turnaround from past campaigns when deals were done two years in advance and no once could stop them.
