WILL JOE GO

Now that Gonzalez is moving out will Joe Lieberman take his place. The analysis of this can go many different ways. First that would be a bad move considering Joe has five years more on his current term compared to a little less than 17 months left in the President term. Secondly it would totally end any chance for any other office as a Democrat if Joe goes over to the dark side. Now it can be good if Joe wants to run for President as a Republican or even an independent and step into a vacuum left by a weak Republican field. A pro choice Joe Lieberman would give fits to Hillary or any one else on the Democratic side and narrow the race to with in one to two percentage points. To through out another issue who would Governor Rell appoint to replace Joe? Blumenthal, Lawlor on the Democratic side or on the Republican side Alan Schlesinger? Who knows Governor Rell is a very smart politician so a Democrat might not be an idea not on the table. What do we expect? Someone other than Joe and for no drama to be played out in Washington or Hartford.
