HALO

What ever happen to the grand plan to redevelop the Hawkins and Anson Street areas? Well it has never moved one inch under the last two administrations and is seems that this might be a good thing. If the city had taken down buildings in this area with the same results as we have seen on Main Street, what would have been the economic impact on the city. It is obvious that the city under Garofalo and Staffieri is at the mercy of incompetence. They have ideas or steal ideas from others and cannot bring themselves to complete a project. Any development now in this area is on hold because the city is broke. Even though Staffieri is lying about the financial health of the city this not going to help when the bills come due and lay offs begin. I hope we can all pull together and get along because the next three years are going to be tough unless we can get a infusion of cash and sound fiscal management.
